The current CSHL Meetings Program originates from the annual Symposia on Quantitative Biology, which started in 1933 and has played a significant part in the development of biology in the 20th century. Since 1945, the successful format of the Symposia has expanded to produce CSHL’s world-renowned Meetings Program, which continues to provide an excellent opportunity for scientists, from a diverse array of backgrounds, to review a wide variety of topics in experimental biology and biomedical research.
