Jet Propultion Laboratory.

A visual identity. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) managed for NASA by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). This initiative consisted of developing a welcome kit for new hires. It housed a lot of general information, notebooks, maps of campus, a prepaid key card for the cafeteria, and a whole bunch of really cool swag. Cool little fun fact. As NASA’s Curiosity rover rolls across the lonely surface of Mars, it leaves in its tracks a message from home, in Morse code. In dot dash notation, each wheel carries three characters, which spell out “JPL.” An element we used in our swag bag gifts.
